HOLD YOUR PEACE

Peace is so important in the life of everyone as it brings good health,blessings and solution to problems. As long as one is able to hold his peace and as long as he does not allow the devil to take it away from him, he will experience flow of the joy of the Lord.

Now peace I mean is confident assurance in the ability of God to help you even in the time of troublesome situations. We are all aware that this world is full of challenges day by day.You need to hold your peace in order to see God to help you. In Exodus 14:14, the Israelites were ready to move out of the land of bondage to the Promised Land.

.

The Bible says as they were moving from Egypt, they saw the Red Sea in front of them and Pharaoh and his host at the back. There was no peace at that moment for the Israelites. It was the most terrible time for them asking, “How can we overcome this?” They ran to Moses asking him what to do?And Moses ran to God! He listened to the Word of God which said God will fight the battle for them. When you hold your peace, God is committed to combat your struggle.

Don’t fight back the people that offended you. Just allow the peace of God to calm down or control everything. When you allow the peace of God to reign, miracle will follow. But if you don’t hold your peace, the enemy will have a chance to trap you. Don’t quickly be intimidated because of the situation or what the people say. You feel rejected, they always monitor your mistakes to condemn you causing you to react impulsively, calm down! Let God make His way and you will never regret doing so. You will have a victory in the name of Jesus.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Many of us usually ask this question. With the challenges and the problems in life? there’s one thing I want you to understand: when you are passing through situations,how great the things God will do in your life can be how great the challenges you are are going to pass through. I don’t know what you’re going through this very moment. It may be about your health, family, job or business, or it may be something about what you can do better but you don’t know how. It appears people don’t recognize your skills; it seems like they reject you.

Listen, it is not the end of you when there are no more people to turn to for help. God knows the reason why things are happening to you.In Genesis 25 verse 22, the Bible talks about a woman named Rebekah, the wife of the great man called Isaac. Verse 22 says,”But the children inside her struggled with each other, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.” She went to inquire of the Lord, she was crying to God, “You gave me those children, why am I passing through this?” Sometimes, when you are destined to be rich in life, to be a great person tomorrow, you might appear a suffering beggar today and you are being greatly tested, it doesn’t mean that God has forgotten you, that God’s Word is not true. Observe in verse 23, “And the Lord said to her:Two nations are in your womb; two peoples will come from you and be separated. One people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.” God responded to the woman in answer to the questions about why, why and why. Rebekah was passing through the struggle because she was going to carry two great nations inside her. You must have applied for a job and been getting rejections here and there,believe now, it’s not the end of you. You have a great destiny! Someday you will have a better job, you’re going to have a better promotion, you are going to employ people.

Satan has seen how great you are going to be, that is why he is always attacking you to make you weary. Don’t give up your home, your business, or your calling. God will use you greatly. When you ask why you are facing trials, try to understand that God has sent me an answer to you.you’re going to have a great tomorrow.You will never miss it in the name of Jesus.

HIS WINGS GOT YOU COVERED

Friend, I am glad to let you know, no matter what is the situation, at this kind of time, believe that God (still) is protecting you your finances and your home. No matter what challenges you may be passing through now, you are covered by the wings of God.

Now, it is your duty to believe. You are not alone, the multitude of angels are with you when you’re sleeping, when you are eating, when you are in the office, wherever you are, their wings stretch over you, covering you. Never allow fear to remove the wings of God over you.

Remember Peter in the Bible, when he saw Jesus walking on the water. Peter made a move and when he looked at the storm (lost his focus), he started to sink. You don’t need to sink in this time of pandemic, you need not sink in this troubled time. All you need to understand and keep in mind is set your eyes on Jesus, believe in His wings that cover you and your home.

In Psalm chapter 36 verse 7, it says, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.” He’s a good God He is there to keep you day and night, just trust Him, believe Him.

So, we need to understand that no matter what the situation is, don’t do any act of stupidity, don’t do anything beyond crossing the border of your Father and trespassing in the camp of the enemy. Remember, sin opens doors for the wings to be removed. The devil may somehow take advantage of the disobedience of a Christian for him to gain access in removing the wings. I would like you to get yourself covered by His wings by abiding in obedience to the Almighty God and abiding in His presence.

Dry Bones Shall Live Again

About dry bones we are to deal with hopeless conditions. When hope is totally lost, great is God Who created each and everyone of us, He Who has the ability to make a dry bone live again.

Ezekiel 37:10, This passage reveal about dry bones. The power of God came upon them and they got life again,praise God. There’s something great God wants to do in your life, in the area you thought hope is lost, God still has something to do with it. That sickness and situation you may be going through can be as dry bone. I want to tell you, you’re not going to be like that forever. God loves you! The power of God will come upon you and you will rise again and gain your strength back.

The Lord will restore good health to you. Dry bone can be in the area of marriage.Probably in the beginning of your marriage, everything was smooth sailing. But as time passes by, you are being challenged,may be trials attack the family resulting in the loss of joy between you and your spouse.Maybe you have a problem with your children, they are causing you sorrow;God is able to bring joy back to the family.

Believe God with me,it can be about your finances. Somehow, you wonder, “Oh! How I wish life were like years ago when there was monetary abundance compared to my account at present when I hardly have anything. It’s like the business is in bankruptcy. It may seem like financial dry bone but God is able to bring restoration to your finances and make you to be blessed again. Even when you pass through crisis, He said “Even in the area where you have been shamed, I will restore double favor to you.” God is a good God. Most of the time, when God wants to make the dry bone back to life, when He wants to heal your body,wants to change your life spiritually, wants to turn around your situation, He requires that you use your mouth to speak.

You need to speak life to that dry bone.You need to command the dry bone to get the life from the throne of God.You need to prophesy to that finances of yours. You need to prophesy to your business. Speak to that dry bone, it shall come back to life. In the name of Jesus!

Later in the Night!

God is tactful, He does work at the right time and at the right hour. That is how He does His work. Sometimes it may not be at a time that we expect it to happen, but God is never late. Maybe you are engaged in challenges of different types. There are some hours of the day that you are met with challenges here, problems there and all sorts of circumstances that make you feel run over for the day.

I have good news for you. Just give yourself a little break. Don’t let hurdles upset you. Understand that God is going to intervene the moment you will surrender the burdens to him.The man of God Moses was in the land called Egypt. He did everything he could for the release of the children of Israel while the man called Pharaoh, the host of Egypt didn’t want them released. At the right moment,in Exodus 12:29 and 31, 29) “And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, And immediately, 31) “And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said.” When there are situation and your ability seems not enough you keep calm,God is going to move later in the night.

I could remember a situation in one of my crusade meetings. The first day of the crusade was so terrible because of the different challenges our team encountered. Some politician came and said, “You don’t have the right to use this stage, you don’t have the permission to be here, you need to leave.” This was after we have paid somebody to allow us to use the venue. Then, I was told to meet their boss right away, that I have to come to their office immediately. All my workers were very tired, all of us felt exhausted because of the challenges on the first day of that crusade. I told my workers, “We don’t need to go to any office now, let’s just go call it a day and sleep, let everybody take a rest and let’s give God a chance to do something on our behalf.” And God did intervene. The following day we got to the office of the superior and I was surprised. He told me, “Pastor you and your team are welcome, I’ve heard about you that you will use the place for the glory of God.

Go ahead and use it, you don’t need to pay anything. Whatever you are going through now, don’t let it upset you, don’t be knocked down, don’t get exhausted because of the situation.Leave it to for God,He’s doing something in moments of seeming silence.”Later in the Night”, God will surprise you.

Power of Love!

Power is a kind of dynamic force that can make a change at life or make something new. Love is a kind of passion or inner affection towards somebody. In marriage, love has no difference. Let the power of love take charge regardless of race and color to make for a relationship. Love begets love. Love profits. What you offer will determine what you will get or receive back.

1. Give genuine love and you will receive genuine love. 1 John 4:19, “We love Jesus because He first loved us.”

2. Love is not moved by challenges nor quenched by trials. Solomon 8: 7 – Many waters cannot quench love. Authentic love stands firm, it won’t be destroyed by any storms of life.

3. Love must be real. Love must not be based on outward appearance, position and possession. Real love accepts, takes not just a part but all, despite or in spite of.

4. Love endures. 1 Corinthians 13: 4 – 8, Love never gives up when situations, circumstances and trials come. Kindness must take place in the midst of uncertainty, weariness and disappointment for marriage to be successful. Love remains.

5. Love covers multitudes of sin. Proverbs 10:1, Overlook the mistakes, errors and faults of one another to preserve the relationship. Love must be sweet forever. Don’t quickly react just because of one mistake or if things go wrong. Love forgives and forgets, or else love will fade.

6. Love with expression. John 3:16 – Love cares and offers generously. Love must be heard in words and must be shown in many ways. Love demonstrates help in all aspects. Love gives as God has given Jesus to us. Love is the greatest of all.

COMPANIONSHIP!

1 Corinthians 7:5

When you observe from the beginning of the foundation of marriage in the Bible, one of the motives of GOD is COMPANIONSHIP, that it’s not good for a man to be alone.

God made a provision of Eve for the man called Adam. This passage talks about coming together or being together which is very important especially in a relationship or marriage. To establish a home, you must value COMPANIONSHIP. Satan wants to take advantage when the couples are apart from each other or if one has no company or is alone.

COMPANIONSHIP may need absolute communication and constant unity as everyone needs somebody for comfort whom to express pent-up emotions. For instance, when the wife is pregnant, the husband must be proud to be with her along the way not to feel ashamed because the wife is no longer sexy. To take care of her in that situation, comfort and care must be shown.That counts for COMPANIONSHIP. The Bible didn’t establish social distancing.

COMPANIONSHIP also means being not apart in spirit though apart or absent in flesh. There has to be constant coordination and attachment with the help of social media. Long distance relationship is not a barrier, it’s just a matter of well communication for COMPANIONSHIP’s sake. So that the devil cannot take advantage of disintegrating or penetrating easily the relationship. Have in mind that COMPANIONSHIP does not only mean distance. There can also be companionship through consistent communication as well, provided by new technology. May the Lord bless you!

How Can You Overcome the Tough Times?

When problems come, I have good news for you. God has sent me a message to reveal to you,about how you can overcome difficult situations.

1. Have a winner mindset. The place of the battle in life is the mind. If the devil cannot conquer your mind, he can never conquer you.

2. See the big God not the big problem. The God you are serving is great. He is mighty. But there is a danger in facing problems and that is looking at a problem greater than the God who is in you and His ability.


3.Be conscious of hope. Job 14:7 says “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” Even when the tree has been cut down, there is still hope. As long as the tree has its root down, you root is in Christ Jesus. It doesn’t matter you have been cut down, there is hope for you. Be conscious of hope even though you have been disappointed by people.

4. Understand that you are not the only one. This is true for others, not just you. Not only you experiences tough situations. 1 Peter 5:9 That means you are not the only one. Many went though it and overcame. If they conquered it, you can conquer it. If God gave them the victorious end, yours is possible.

5. Pray for strength and grace. Tough time is not the time to weep, not the time to solicit advice and gain audience. The people, your audience, may not be of help when you explain yourself. Tough time is not the time to worry. But, tough time has come to make you spiritually tough, to make you strong.

The last chapter of Job reveals the end of the man called Job who went through so much beatings in life, “So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.” – Job 42 The Old Testament mentioned many things about Job and one most notable is that he lived long. He had beautiful children, a good home and aside from those, he received incredible restorations of good things that Satan took away from him.
Like in the life of Job, whatever you have lost in your journey in life that caused you great sorrow, there is good news for you – God will restore them in much greater degree. As the Bible says there is time for everything, including the time to encounter tough moments. It is inevitable to experience time of crying or smiling amidst challenges. You undergo them not because you have done poorly, or you have been very bad, even the holy or the anointed ones tread on bumpy, rocky roads. They are tough times allowed by God in order to shape you or sharpen you and for you to have a testimony in the end. God never allows tough times if there are no reasons. Challenges and trials appear like a wind or outburst of problems. They also come like giants left and right, surfacing from different angles like in the trying times of Job.

Either tough times came because you deserve it or you didn’t. Bottom line is, God will never allow them to destroy you. He is a good God! When He allows such experience, God has a reason or purpose. He knows He can bring something good of it. Your tough times can be the terrifying moments in your family setting, marriage or business. Contemplating on your experiences, you may begin to ask, why me? Or just why just me? There is good news for you, tough times never last, only tough people do. This means that in the time of battle or facing challenges, you need to stand tall.

Overcoming Anxiety

First, what is anxiety? Anxiety simply means worry, a feeling of worry with fear. It’s a response to challenges or circumstances that one encounters. Anxiety is something we know the human mind can easily be influenced by specially face to face unsettling conditions or disturbing situations. Anxiety is making you somehow feel and have an emotional problem.

How do we get over this kind of feeling?
Many land in hospitals after going through a lot of challenges. Let us quickly get our attention to a text in the Bible to the book of Psalm 62 verse 5 which pacifies us saying, “My soul, wait thou upon the Lord”. Friend you need to understand this,no amount of worry can change your past, no matter what it is. You just need to understand how to get over it. On the other hand, no amount of your fretting can even change your future. I’ll be teaching you through the Bible, some few points that will aid in conquering anxiety. I will share with you by God’s grace, at least seven (5) different points that can uphold you to overcome. I’m sure you are excited to know, as I am excited myself to tell you. Hallelujah! Glory be to Jesus!

1. Speak to your emotion. You know, as I said earlier, the human mind can be influenced by situations surrounding him or her. When you are thinking about a situation, you may experience unrest, you will not have peace of mind and that is exactly the target of the devil: to take advantage to attack you. The only way you can overcome that- which is one of the important ways – is to speak to your emotion through your mind, so you can respond to the voice of the Spirit.

2. You must trust God who helped you survive situations before and is able to make you cross over this one again. In the book of 1st Samuel 17:34-37.


3. Be aware, Jesus is in the hidden part of the ship. No, you may not believe. I believe it somehow sounds funny and I am talking about Mark 4:38,You may not see Him now,but He’s working behind the seen to make a way for you.

4. Let your faith be stronger than your fear. I have told you that the greatest weapon of anxiety is fear. Fear is used to curb the heart of the people to become a victim. But then your faith need to be made stronger than your fear, you can overcome. In Mark 4:40, after Jesus stopped the storm, He came to the disciples again and what did Jesus say? Why is that you people don’t have faith? Faith is the greatest weapon to conquer anxiety.

5.Lastly, this may sound preposterous, but it’s a big truth. If you want to overcome anxiety in life, you want to overcome the worries of life, create an atmosphere of happiness for yourself. Philippians 4 4, the Bible says, Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. God mentioned the word rejoice twice for the.record. According to my Bible, it says that a happy heart is a medicine to the body.

Do you understand? If you want to overcome anxiety in life, allocate time for you to have a break. A happy one if you must. Do you know what I mean by a break? You have been worried and worried about stuff, you think you are there alone in the room, in the office, you are worried about being alone. Come on, stop! Just stop! Have a break. Break the monotony. Move somewhere. Get to a place where you can rub elbows with positive people. People who can make you happy, people to smile with. Avoid entangling with grouchy people, who may destroy you, knock you down. Quit acquaintances who look for you and bring you words as if they are helping you, but instead pollute your mind and make you lose your faith. Be around positive people, oozing with optimism.
